Auditions: The Railway Children

Adapted from E. Nesbit’s classic Edwardian children’s tale, newly impoverished, and separated from their wrongly imprisoned father, three children find both adventure and hope when they move with their mother to a small cottage near a railway line.

There are a variety of roles available - 5F, 7M + various

Two young women and two young men are required to play the teenagers, otherwise all the characters are flexible.

There are several small parts which, depending on interest, can either be played by the ensemble, or as individual roles.

There will be young actors involved, although not in principal roles. They will be auditioned separately.

The performance dates are 27/28/29/30 July + 2/3/4/5/6 August (11 shows, including 4 matinees).
