Dying for It is Moira Buffini's free adaptation of Nikolai Erdmann's 1928 comedic play, The Suicide. The lead character, Semyon, has concluded that his life is not worth living, so decides to kill himself. But now it seems that he is worth more to his fellows dead than alive as a coterie of malcontents try to get him to die for their separate causes.
Please prepare a short monologue of your choice that you think would fit with the character(s) you are interested in. There are a few good ones in the play itself that you might like to consider (they can be for a different character than the one you are auditioning for).
At the audition, you will also be asked to perform a short scene from the play with a couple of other actors.
Callbacks will be on Wednesday 18 December, 8-10pm
