Heads up for would-be directors!

Submissions for the second half of our 2025 season will open this month. This is your advance warning, so get reading and thinking about how you might stage the show!

The window will be open for one month. Our submissions are director-led, so any play sent to us for consideration must be sent in by the director, or to have a director already attached (including new writing).

September – December slots will be available, including the Christmas Show. We’ll ask you for your availability when you complete the form, so do bear that in mind. (The audition process will begin in May for the first show in September, for example.)

Here are some great websites to look at for reading ideas. These sites give you a good sense of what is currently available for performance rights:

We always look for a mix of comedy, drama and mixed cast sizes. We would love to showcase more work by under-represented groups so that we can create more diversity on stage.

There will be a form to fill in if you want to submit a play, which will be available as soon as submissions open, along with further details. Keep an eye on the website and our socials.
