Autumn / Winter season announced

Theatre Committee is delighted to announce the shows that will be performed at SLT in the second half of the 2025 season, which runs from August to December.

You can see all the new shows on our newly updated upcoming shows page. Please look out for audition notices and opportunities to get involved backstage or as a theatre rep, as they are announced.

As always, we’re balancing veritable classics with vital new writing, with writers from Arthur Miller to Lucy Kirkwood. Drama and comedy are ever-present and we hope to round off with a family Christmas show, but as yet that slot is still vacant, so do contact theatrecommittee@southlondontheatre.co.uk with any ideas you may have to direct.

Thank you to all those who put themselves forward to direct a play for this season. As ever, the standard of submissions was extremely high, which led to some intense deliberations and difficult decisions.

If you submitted this time but were not successful, please don’t be disheartened as we would love for you to keep submitting. A play not being chosen doesn’t necessarily reflect the quality of your submission; it can just be that it wasn’t the right fit amongst the other shows this time. You may have better luck next time.
