All change in the Members’ Bar!

The Members’ Club bar has been evolving for a while and you might have noticed little changes each time you have come down; but we really think the space is coming together now, with a much more intimate and welcoming vibe.

The lighting scheme is now more ambient and relaxed, the colour scheme on the walls radically transformed likewise, and all is further enhanced with some fun, neon-style, decorative signs and the replacement of peeling paint and crumbling brickwork, with lush-looking “vegetation” and a new velvet-backed coat rack feature.

Even the cabaret lamps and TV projector are not the end of the bar’s transformation, with a few little touches like a games cupboard, “objet-d’props” shelves and wall photography still to come.

We hope that you’ll feel more at home in a more theatrical, atmospheric and fun environment and look forward to welcoming you soon, whichever side of the bar you’re on! (More about bar volunteering here)
