Backstage Crew Event

Come on down to get involved backstage!

If you've ever thought about lending a hand backstage as a member, this is the event for you. Come on down to meet key people involved in organising SLT behind the scenes; those often unsung heroes who ensure every show has a stage, a set and the lights, costumes and props it needs to be put in front of a paying audience.

You don't need any special skills to get involved, just the desire to muck in and help out. You can learn as you go, trying a bit of everything, or explore opportunities in specific areas like sound and lighting or set-building.

The new season having been recently announced, there is a whole host of show directors, looking for set builders, prop-makers, stage managers, costume designers and lighting riggers, amongst many other roles. Come down to find out how you can make things happen at SLT!

To volunteer backstage at SLT, you must be a member.
