Auditions: Round and Round the Garden

This classic Ayckbourn comedy (like the other plays that make up The Norman Conquests trilogy) takes place over a weekend at a house somewhere in the Home Counties – Reg, Ruth and Annie’s childhood home. Annie now looks after their invalid mother (whom we never see). Annie’s only other companion is Tom, the local vet, who is very good with animals but often confused by people.

Reg and Sarah have come down to give Annie a break, but Annie’s plan is to sneak off with Norman. When Sarah interferes and the plans fall apart, the result is a weekend of misunderstandings and tangled relationships.
