Little Women - The Broadway Musical
Book: Allan Knee
Lyrics: Mindi Dickstein
Music: Jason Howland
20 - 25 January 2025
Based on the semi-autobiographical, two-volume novel by Louisa May Alcott, Little Women The Musical focuses on the four March sisters: traditional Meg, wild, aspiring writer Jo, timid Beth and romantic Amy, and their beloved Marmee, at home in Concord, Massachusetts, while their father is away serving during the Civil War. Jo’s melodramatic short stories, written in her attic, recreate their lives and lead us through a heart-warming and tragic journey through the lives of these Little Women.

Much Ado About Nothing
by William Shakespeare
Youth Theatre Show
Performances: 11 - 15 February 2025
Shakespeare’s witty and fast-paced comedy will be brought to life in this vibrant Youth production. Set against the backdrop of romantic entanglements and sharp-tongued banter, the play follows two contrasting couples: the fiery Beatrice and Benedick, locked in a battle of wits, and the sweet, young lovers, Hero and Claudio. With mistaken identities, meddling schemes, and plenty of misunderstandings, this show will brim with energy and humour. A joyous exploration of love, deception, and redemption.

Bacchae
by Euripides
Translated by David Stuttard
Performances: 25 February - 1 March 2025
A classic story of gods, power struggles, and the dark side of human nature, Bacchae is the ultimate battle of wills, centring on a perfect antihero, following themes of freedom and repression. Dionysus, the god of revelry, arrives in the city of Thebes to prove his divinity. King Pentheus, a rigid and arrogant ruler, refuses to acknowledge him as a god, scorning Dionysus’ followers—who have surrendered to a life of ecstatic worship in the wilderness. What follows is an intense psychological showdown between the two. This play asks timeless questions about the consequences of denying our true nature in a way which still resonates fully today.

The Pain And The Itch
by Bruce Norris
Performances: 25 - 29 March 2025
The Pain And The Itch is a dark, biting comedy that brilliantly exposes the hypocrisy, dysfunction, and simmering tensions beneath the surface of an upper-middle-class family. It mixes dark social commentary with humour and uncomfortable truths to concoct a compelling play likely to leave audiences thinking long after the final curtain. What begins as a typical family squabble over minor irritations quickly spirals into a confrontation of deeper issues like privilege, race, and moral blindness as a Thanksgiving dinner goes terribly wrong. Brutally honest and funny, it cracks the facade of modern family life.
Director: Lloyd Smith

The Ballad of Maria Marten
by Beth Flintoff
Performances: 6 - 10 May 2025
The Ballad of Maria Marten is a captivating and dramatic reimagining of a true crime story from 1827, with the voices of women reclaiming their narrative and demonstrating the strength of female friendship. At the heart of the story is Maria Marten, a spirited young woman from a small English village whose body is discovered buried in a barn a year after her disappearance. What follows is the retelling of the events leading up to her murder—this time, from Maria’s perspective and the voices of the women around her.
The play is a story of class, abuse, and resilience, but ultimately of love, turning the tragic true tale into a powerful and often humorous exploration of the experiences of women in a society that often silenced them.

Romeo and Juliet
by William Shakespeare

Romeo and Juliet is one of Shakespeare’s most famous tales of love and tragedy, but in this unique reimagining, Romeo and Juliet’s romance will unfold within the walls of an Edwardian asylum, where the characters’ actions and emotions are amplified in this intense, confined environment. Are they driven by love — or madness? The familiar story of star-crossed lovers, vengeful family conflicts, and desperate acts of passion takes on new meaning as the asylum setting blurs the line between reality and illusion.

by Guillermo Calderón
Performances: 17 - 21 June 2025 - apply via the audition notice on the website
The Villa is a gripping and thought-provoking drama that explores the painful legacy of a country’s past, set against the backdrop of a former torture site. In this powerful and intimate play, three women gather to debate the future of the Villa Grimaldi, a real-life site of atrocities during Chile’s dictatorship. Their mission: to decide how the site should be memorialised. As the women deliberate, they confront deep, conflicting emotions about memory, justice, and the responsibilities of remembering a painful history. Should the site be a museum, a memorial, or something else entirely? Their intense conversation becomes a metaphor for a nation’s struggle to reconcile with its violent past.
