Building calendars – simplified

The calendars for SLT room bookings and public events are now available with no login, password or tech knowledge required.

Building Manager Bex Law and House Manager Gareth Milton have worked hard to tinker with the Google calendar systems we use, in order to create public versions which allow you to see what’s on, where and when, with just one click.

As well as rehearsals, (prefixed Reh:) the calendar displays lots of other activities at the SLT Fire Station, (including auditions, prefixed AUD:) across the key rehearsal and audition spaces, which are colour coded for ‘at a glance’ convenience:

Kit Room is in gold

Fly Loft is in red

The Theatre is in blue

So, now you can check on the event you’re headed to as well as whether rooms might be free. This calendar will be permanently available in your Members’ Area, which is a top-menu option on the website. (Use the ‘≡’ symbol in the top-right corner to access the menu on a mobile device)

If you happen to be in the SLT Fire Station, don’t forget that you can always check this calendar on the iPad screen next to the lift in the foyer.

Additionally, not all classes and events scheduled to take place in hired spaces request publicity on our website, in our “All Events” feed. So, if you’re looking to check what public events are scheduled, you can access that calendar from beneath the “All Events” feed on the Home page and What’s On page.
