Our first exciting show of 2025

During our 2024 submission process we were approached on the idea of putting on a musical in 2025.

As we all know, musicals take much longer than a standard show to produce, so at our Autumn/Winter season launch in February, we announced that we’re opening our 2025 season with Little Women the Musical.

At that time we had not yet secured the rights to the show so could not announce publicly, but are now very happy to share that we have those rights are in place for this wonderful show and it will open our 2025 season in January!

Florence Henderson, of Thumbelina fame, is taking on the role of Director supported by SLT Musical Maestro Alan Walker. Auditions will take place this summer, and rehearsals will start in earnest in September with a some music rehearsals happening before that.

“I am absolutely thrilled to be putting on Little Women the Musical at SLT. This is my first time directing at SLT, and what a show to open with! Having loved and dedicated much of my life to Musical Theatre, Little Women is a wonderful opportunity to showcase not only my passion for it, but to showcase the extraordinary talent of the performers that will bring this gorgeous little story to life.”
