Actors are rehearsing a play about Benjamin Britten, who is sailing uncomfortably close to the wind with his new opera 'Death in Venice'. Britten seeks advice from his former collaborator and friend W H Auden. During this imagined meeting in 1973, their first for 25 years, they are observed and interrupted by, amongst others, their future biographer and a young man from the local bus station.

The Habit of Art deals with adult themes and contains scenes and dialogue of a sexual nature.
Unfortunately it will not be possible to admit latecomers, please arrive at the theatre in plenty of time. Similarly if you need to leave the auditorium for any reason, it will not be possible to re-enter.
