Andrew and Barry at Scorpion Claims, Luton’s finest personal injury lawyers, are the men for you. When Kevin, Andrew’s high school nemesis, appears in his office the opportunity for a quick win arises. But just how fast does a lie have to spin before it gets out of control? The Same Deep Water As Me is a social comedy by Nick Payne, the writer of Constellations. The Same Deep Water As Me was first performed at the Donmar Warehouse, London, on 1 August 2013.

Andrew Eagleman: 30s, somewhat jaded by life having quit London to return home to Luton
Barry Paterson: 55, owner of Scorpion Claims, bereaved and finding solace in new varieties of tea
Kevin Needleman: 30s, former school contemporary of Andrew’s - a Luton wide boy
Jennifer Needleman: 30s, Kevin’s wife and the mother of his kids, but Andrew’s schooldays girlfriend
Anne / Georgina: 40s, Anne is a black cab driver and Georgina is a court lawyer
Guy / Jessup: 50s, Guy is a mobile DJ, Jessup is the court judge
Terri / Attendant: (20s) Terri is a cyclist without a bike and Attendant is the court attendant/clerk
