Script submissions window open

We’re now receiving submissions for the autumn/winter half of our 2025 season.

The submissions window will be open until midnight on 23 February, but do please help us by not leaving it until the last minute! Our submissions are director-led, so any play sent to us for consideration must be submitted by the director, or at least have a director already attached in the case of original writing.

Early September – December slots will be available, including the Christmas Show, which usually runs for 9 or 10 performances including matinees, and should be family-oriented.

Here are some great websites to look at for reading ideas. These sites give you a good sense of what is currently available for performance rights:

We always look for a mix of comedy, drama and mixed cast sizes. We would love to showcase more work by underrepresented groups, as we would love to create more diversity on stage.

Here is the form to compete if you want to submit a play. This time around, we’re asking you for a few more details, so please take care to complete it in full. We’ll ask you for your availability when you complete the form, so do bear that in mind. (The audition process will begin in May for the first show in September, for example.)
